| Dear Dr. Yim, Dr. Sookyeon Lee recommended that I send you information on the 50th Anniversary Meeting of the American Society of Pharmacognosy, (ASP), which will be held in Honolulu, Hawaii from June 27 to July 1 2009. This will be the most significant and special meeting in the history of the ASP, and we welcome members from the Korean Society of Pharmacognosy and other related Societies to join us in celebrating our Golden Anniversary. My colleague, Dr. John Cardellina, and I would greatly appreciate if you could inform KSP members about our meeting. I have prepared a letter of invitation which could either be sent to your members or posted on a website: -------------------------------------------------------------------- Or, the meeting poster itself may be distributed or posted: -------------------------------------------------------------------- We feel our meeting will be of interest to KSP colleagues, and we welcome participation in contributed oral talks and posters. Our meeting will involve delegates from many countries, and will be an excellent opportunity for interaction of members of both of our Societies. We also have a very special social program which celebrates the ASP's Golden Anniversary. The meeting location is in the beautiful Sheraton Waikiki Hotel, which is in the middle of Waikiki Beach.
