Dear Researchers in Pharmacognosy and Natural Products,
On behalf of the Korean Society of Pharmacognosy, we are pleased to invite you to the 56th International Congress of KSP & 13th KSP-JSP-CPA Joint Symposium on Medicinal Plants, to be held from November 6–7, 2025 at the aT Center, Seoul, Korea. This event will be held in collaboration with the Society for Medicinal Plant and Natural Product Research (GA), providing a valuable opportunity for researchers from around the world to gather, exchange ideas, and foster international collaboration.
The theme of this international conference is “K-Natural Products and Global Synergy: Strategies for the Future of Pharmacognosy”, aiming to explore the latest trends in natural product research and discuss strategies for global cooperation in a rapidly evolving research environment. The first day of the conference will feature international symposia and poster presentations across diverse topics, while the second day will include the KSP-JSP-CPA Joint Symposium alongside oral and poster presentations by young researchers. Notably, keynote lectures by Professor Michael Heinrich (University College London) and Professor Jaekyung Kim (KAIST) will offer profound insights into the field.
This international conference will serve as an important stepping stone not only for sharing research achievements and expanding professional networks, but also for advancing the globalization of the Korean Society of Pharmacognosy. We sincerely look forward to your active participation and warm support, and hope that your experience in Seoul will contribute to new breakthroughs and a bright future in the field of pharmacognosy.
Sincerely,
So-Young Park
President, Korean Society of Pharmacognosy
